about ifsa

ifsa, founded by Wouter de Zeeuw (1974), provides projectmanagement, consultancy and design services to a wide variety of clients. Wouter graduated from TU Delft (2003) with a Master in Architecture. Besides Delft, Wouter has been enrolled in study programmes in both Chicago (University of Illinois, 2000) and Los Angeles (Southern California Institute of Architecture, 2001).

After graduation Wouter worked for several architectural offices, such as Löhmann’s, FARO Architecture/Research and HofmanDujardin. From 2010 till today, Wouter works as a projectmanager and consultant for industrial clients, municipalities and developers of real estate and urban development.

Projects include construction management, workplace design, energy studies and optimizations of real estate, industrial infrastructure, site masterplanning and sustainability advisory for community and industrial developments. Focus ranges from utilities to building portfolios and urban planning.

Vancouver

Furthermore, Wouter is involved in setting up academic events, where universities, developers and planning professionals work on a casestudy while looking at the sustainability performance of that project. So far, Amsterdam Zuidas, Malmö Western Harbor, Vancouver UniverCity and London King’s Cross have been the subject of such a sustainability appraisal. The results of these case studies are publically availaible. A grant from the Dutch Stimuleringsfonds was disbursed for the startup of this international research.
